Manage Approvals

Creating a new Approval

To create a new approval, follow the steps below.

1	Navigate to the Add-Ons Panel within your JIRA installation and Click on Approval Administration to manage Approvals Administration → Add-Ons → Herzum Approval → Approval Administration	Herzum Approval add-on panel
2	Click on Add new Approval to create a new approval based on a single approval selection validation.	Approvals management screen
2.1	Enter Approval configuration data: "Approval Name" (required) "Approval Description" (optional) select or check one of following fields (required): one or more "Roles" one or more "Groups" one or more "Users" "Reporter" "Assignee" "Project Lead" User Picker Custom Field Group Picker Custom Field See also Configuring an Aproval via user and group picker custom fields to review examples of approvals based on custom fields. 3	Click on Add new Advanced Approval to create a new approval based on a multiple approval selection validation.	Approvals management screen
3.1	Enter Advanced Approval configuration data: "Approval Name" (required) "Approval Description" (optional) select or check at least two of following fields (required): one or more "Roles" one or more "Groups" one or more "Users" Group Picker Feld or User Picker Field "Reporter" "Assignee" "Project Lead" "Operator" (required) - Default is OR select And to require that approval belong to all the selected approval sets (Roles, Groups, etc) select Or to require that approval belong to any of the selected approval sets (Roles, Groups, etc) See also Configuring an Approval as union or intersection of selected Groups, Project Roles,Users, Assignee, Reporter and Project Lead, Configuring an Approval as Group Picker custom field AND/OR (Groups, Project Roles,Users, Assignee, Reporter and Project Lead) to review same examples of approvals based on Advanced Approvals.
