The Lock reversing approval actions option under the Other customizations section of the Approval Global Configuration screen allows to disable the approvers capability to reverse an approval action.
By default approvers can reverse an approval
- from Approved to Reject or Pending
- from Rejected to Approved or Pending
- from Pending to Approved or Rejected.
On enabling the Lock reversing approval actions, an approval can be Approved or Rejected only once and never turned back in Pending.
The following screenshots show on the right the issue screen after that an Approval has been Approved (Approval actions are grayed) and the associated setting, on the left, to inhibit the approval is reversed.
