The Herzum Automatic Change Approval Status service is a custom-written JIRA service that can automate an approval decision that is still pending after the specified elapsed time from its submission.



Follow the steps below in order to register the Automatic Change Approval Status service:

  1. Choose  > System >Advanced > Services or click Services on the v6-AdvancedAdvanced#Services administration screen
  2. In the Add Service  form at the bottom of the page, complete the following fields:
    • Name →  the descriptive name for this service.

    • Class → com.herzum.approval.service.action.ActionAutomation

    • Schedule and Interval →  when you want the service runs

  3. After completing the fields on the Add Service form, click the Add Service button. This opens the Edit Service page, where you can configure your new service's options.
  4. After completing the remaining options on the Edit Service page, click the Update button to save your new service's options.
