The way times and dates are presented to users on the 'Approval request' emails, the Approval web panel and the Approval History depends by the JIRA settings listed below:

• JIRA default language (System->General configuration->Default language)
• Default user time zone (System->General configuration->Default user time zone)
• Complete Date/Time Format (System->Look and Feel->Complete Date/Time Format)

Example 1

Default language: Deutsch

Time Zone: GMT+01.00 (System Time + 1hour)

Complete Date/Time Format:  h:mm a,  MMMMM dd, yy (E.g. 4:55 AM, May 23, 07)
