Click on Approval Mapping Administration to configure required approval/s for a specified issue type of a project and for a specific transition.

Display the list of configured Approval Mappings.

Check the All option to display all configured mappings.

Check the Only Selected option to display only the mappings configured fo the selected Project and Issue Type.

Click on Add Approval Mapping to add a new Approval Mapping for the selected Project and Issue Type.

The Add Approval Mapping screen allows to configure the approvals on any workflow transition not yet having been configured.

Click on Edit to update an existing Approval Mapping.

The updated mapping will be applied on already existing issues too.

Check the Approval Mapping Status and when required Refresh the Mapping.

An Approval Mapping Configuration can assume the following Status :

  •  if existing issues are consistent with current Approval Configuration
  • if the Approval Mapping has been configured but on exit it has not be saved jet. In order to save the mapping just click on 
  • if the operations to make existing issues consistent with the saved Approval Mapping have not been completed jet. In order to check if the add-on has completed restoring consistency, just click on .

Click on Delete to delete an existing Approval Mapping.

The required approvals will be removed by already existing issues too.

While the mapping is locked the Edit and Delete operations are disabled.

On click or just refreshing the screen:

  • If the operations restoring the consistence of the Approval mapping configuration on the existing issues have been completed,  the lock disappear
  • if the operations are still in progress, the following pop-ups can be displayed
    • If elapsed time is less the one hour

    • if elapsed time is greater the one hour


 

 

You can configure automatic workflow transition global settings by clicking on AWT Settings.

This setting is evaluated only on checking the AWT box for a given Mapping and it allows to automatically transition an issue if all required approvals have been approved by running workflow post function (Responsive) or not (Forced).

You need to manage NAC setting to enable Notify approvals via comment .

This setting is evaluated only on checking the NAC box for a given Mapping and it enables:

  • approval notification via comments
  • Approve/ Reject via comments.

You can manage Approvals also by clicking on Manage Approvals on the right-top of the screen.
