By default, a Jira Project has an attachment size limit that is defined as per global instance configuration (https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/MgISCw) but it cannot be specialized for a project.

Herzum Attachment Manager app allows to configure a limit, by project, on the number and on the max size for the files that may be attached to an issue.

You can easily setup the number and the max size of files that may be attached to an issue.  by performing the following steps:

  • Select Settings () → Add-ons → Herzum Attachment Manager → Configure Attachments
  • Click Add new attachment limit

  • Choose a Project from the drop down "Project Name"

  • Fill the field Max Attachment Size with the desired max attachment size in bytes for any issue that belong to the selected project

(info)If you set a negative number on the Max Attachment Size, the overall Jira setting is assumed to be checked out

  • Fill the fieldTotal Number of Attachments with the desired max number of files that may be attached to any issue that belong to the selected project

(info) If you set a negative number on the Total Number of Attachments, no limit on the number of attachments is assumed.
