The Approval Request email Resend Automation is a configurable option of the Herzum Approval app that requires you register an Approval Request email Resend Automation Service and setup the Approval Emails Automation setting on the concerned Approval Mapping.

The customer scenario requires the following settings:

• an Approval Request email Resend Automation service has been registered and configured to run every hour
  
• the Approval Emails AutomationAdvanced Setting, on the concerned Approval Mapping, has been configured to automate resending the Approval Request email when the elapsed time between the current time and the latest email notification (Notification Date) or , case of the approval was never notified), the Approval Submit Date,  is greater or equal to 72 hours (3 days):

The following screenshot shows two pending approvals (Manager A  and Manager B) already notified 3 days ago.

The Approval Request email Resend Automation Service resend the approval notification after three days automatically:

The Approval Request email Resend Automation Service will resend the approval notification again, after three days, until the Approval doesn't change status.
