The Herzum Approval app is able to process the reply to the approval request email and change the status of the approval accordingly.
Users can respond to an approval request directly from the email in two way:
By default the the Approval buttons do not appear on the Approval Request.
In order to display them you must enable the related option on via the Herzum Approval E-Mail Templates Administration screen.
The capability to provide the approval response via buttons requires that the Jira instance can be reached by the user device. |
Solution
The following screenshot shows the option that allows to enable the "Approve" and "Reject" buttons.
The Buttons appear on the Approval Request email:
When clicking one button, a screen appears and a message confirms the operation has been completed successfully.
The ticket immediately recognizes the approver response:
