Choose the cog icon at top right of the screen to go to Bitbucket Administration.

Go to Herzum Mattermost Amplifier → General Info

To set the connection between your Bitbucket Environment and your Mattermost environment enter:

Mattermost URL - the Mattermost base URL.

Token - the Mattermost Personal Access Token.

Info

The Mattermost Personal Access Token must first be created in your Mattermost environment.

See here for instructions on how to get your Mattermost personal access token.

Once the global settings have been entered Bitbucket will attempt to connect with Mattermost.

Successful connection status will show "Connected" on this page and the username of the administrator having system_admin role in Mattermost.

Info
The Mattermost Amplifier for Bitbucket requires that there exist an administrator user for Mattermost whose email address is the same as an administrator user in Bitbucket.

Advanced Features

Click Image Added to open the Advanced Features panel.

Toggle Channel

With this feature enabled, all teams and channels brought into Bitbucket from Mattermost will automatically be enabled.

Mattermost Synchronizer

Here you can set the number of Mattermost synch log files you wish to save. The logs can be found under Synch Logs

Also you can set the Synch Interval (in milliseconds).

Click Image Added to preserve these settings.

Start Synch

Click to start the synchronization between Mattermost and Jira. The results of the synchronization are shown.

Synch logs

Under "Herzum Mattermost Amplifier" in the left panel you will find Statistics. Here you will see the log files for the Mattermost synchronizer.
